Speculative Project - 2019

Ivory white and cerulean blue; low reliefs and minute details; classical subjects and Greek beauties; a fine-grain texture and matte finish. All these (and far more) features spell but one single word: ‘Wedgwood’. In this speculative project, the main elements of Wedgwood pottery find a new balance thanks to a visual language inspired by the calligraphic work of Matisse and Cocteau.
